Who is Eligible?
The CubeSat Challenge program is open exclusively to primary students aged 8 to 12 and secondary students aged 13-18. This exciting opportunity is designed for students with a passion for space, science, and innovation.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Please note that the CubeSat Challenge program will take place during the weekend.

If selected for the final in Dubai you must make your own travel arrangements. We do not provide any accommodation, travel or meals.

Please note, lunches are not provided. You should either bring a packed lunch or select at checkout if you require a lunch to be provided which will cost 50AED per day.

APPLICATION PROCESS
Selection process
Once the application process stage closes all applications will be judged by our team of experts.
Once all entries have been judged the top 150 students will be selected and notified
The selected students attend the 2-day Cubesat challenge at DIA Al Barsha.

Important Terms and Conditions

Application Fee
A non-refundable application fee of 375 AED per student is required to submit an application to the program. This fee covers administrative costs and will not be refunded under any circumstances, including withdrawal from the program or failure to meet eligibility criteria.
Program Dates and Attendance
Selected participants are required to attend the full duration of the program, which will take place on the weekends, from November 29 & 30 for primary and December 6 & 7 for Secondary.
Media Coverage
By participating in the program, participants agree to allow media coverage and photographs to be taken during the event. Skillup group must be named as official providers in any media representation. Additionally, Skillup Group must be contacted for quotes where relevant.
Conduct
Participants are expected to maintain professional conduct throughout the program. Any behavior deemed inappropriate by the organizers may result in immediate removal from the program without refund or recourse.
Program Modifications
Skillup Group Limited reserves the right to make changes to the program schedule, structure, or location if necessary. Participants will be notified of any significant changes in advance.
Liability
Skillup Group Limited is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage that may occur during participation in the program. Participants are responsible for their own safety and the safety of their belongings.

APPLICATION
Fill in the Application Form and submit by paying the application processing fees. Once submitted you well get a link for your interview.

INTERVIEW
Complete the mandatory one-way video interview and submit your application for judging. Videos must be 2-3 mins in length.

RESULT
All the applicants will be informed the final selection result on/before 1st September 2025

What topic does our video have to be about?
You need to attend a 2–3 minute 1-way video interview answering the following questions:
1. If you could help with one problem in space, what would it be?
2. Why should you be awarded a place at the final of the UAE National Space Program?
Students should record the videos themselves without the help of an adult/teacher.
